A Tribute to a Great Leader - Norman Bakos

After 26 hugely successful years Phoenician Golf enters a new era. Our founder and leader Norman Bakos bows out as chairman and hands over the reigns to Bradley Manas.

Norman made an indelible mark on our Lebanese community when he created the Phoenician Golf Club, a club that has certainly withstood the test of time and continues on its successful way with even more enthusiasm and vigour from its members, much to the admiration of the entire community.

After a sterling job by Norman, the time for our youth to continue to build on the success of the club is now and so a new chapter begins with Bradley at the helm. Bradley has shown leadership qualities in many ways and will be a worthy successor to Norman. We know that the leadership of our beloved Phoenician Club is in very capable hands and we wish Bradley every success in his new role.

With commitment from all our members, the Phoenician boat will sail on calm waters indefinitely. Bradley we congratulate you and wish you well with all Gods blessings.
